This necklace is not a high-gloss affair. It is raw, natural, and precisely for that reason, special. The Paua shell pendant shimmers differently with every movement, sometimes deep blue, sometimes purple, sometimes with a hint of green. The Paua shell is a type of abalone found exclusively on the coasts of New Zealand. No two pieces look exactly alike. That's not a flaw, that's the promise.

The black nylon band is robust, flexible, and can be adjusted to your desired length with a simple sliding clasp. You can wear this necklace while swimming, surfing, or sleeping. It will hold up. 100% waterproof.

Each piece is handmade by us in Kiel. If something ever isn't right, just contact us. We will repair it.

All our jewelry is waterproof. You can wear our stainless steel necklaces and bracelets when showering, swimming, and in the sea, and water won't harm our silver earrings either.

Handmade in Germany

We craft each of our pieces of jewelry in our small studio in Kiel, and if you'd like to experience how it's done yourself, we offer jewelry workshops throughout Northern Germany.

Free Repair Service

Our jewelry is very repairable. In addition to the statutory warranty, we will cover any repair case within the first 12 months after your order, regardless of whose fault it is – we don't ask questions, we just fix it. You only pay for the return shipping.

We are Fynn & Felize, and that's it. Five years ago, we returned from a trip to New Zealand with a lot of inspiration and the desire to create jewelry with meaning. Since then, we've been making everything in Kiel.

The Paua shell is a sea snail from New Zealand and belongs to the abalone family. It is known for its exceptionally vibrant colors. No two shells are alike; each is a unique natural specimen. In New Zealand's Māori culture, Paua symbolizes protection and a connection to the sea. We source our shells sustainably and certified from New Zealand and transform the fragments into jewelry by hand. You can find more information here.
