Handmade Ocean Jewelry from Kiel

Hi! Welcome to Salty Dreamers. We are Fynn from Germany and Felize from the Netherlands, two people with a shared love for the ocean, craftsmanship, and authentic moments.

In 2020, we met and fell in love during a trip through New Zealand. Not only with each other, but also with the beaches, the vastness, and the tranquility of the ocean on the other side of the world.

On many of our long beach walks, we discovered the beautiful Paua shell (Abalone). Known for its iridescent blue and green hues, which shimmer differently depending on the light. It carried the ocean within it. We were immediately fascinated. In 2021, the time had come: our first small jewelry brand, "The Paua Factory," was born. But that was only the beginning of our journey, as "The Paua Factory" quickly grew into something bigger.

From the Beach to Kiel: Our Workshop

But it wasn't just the Paua shell that stole our hearts. We love sunset beach walks, sand between our toes, and salty air in our hair. From this love, the Salty Dreamers label emerged, a world for everyone who loves the sea as much as we do.

Today, we lovingly handcraft every single item in our Kiel studio. We use high-quality, durable materials:

• Iridescent Paua shells (Abalone) from New Zealand
• Delicate freshwater pearls
• Sea-shaped sea glass
• Natural cowrie shells
• High-quality stainless steel and silver, waterproof, nickel-free, suitable for everyday wear

Our aspiration: genuine beach jewelry that is not only beautiful but also easy to repair and maintain, so it can accompany every adventure.

Creative Jewelry Workshops on the Baltic Sea

Because we want to share this magic, we offer creative jewelry workshops in Northern Germany in addition to our online shop. Whether it's a cozy girls' night, a creative team event, or an unforgettable bachelorette party, in our small, individual group, you'll learn how to design your very own ocean jewelry.

We will be there ourselves, guiding you step-by-step through everything. What remains: a self-made piece of jewelry and memories that will last long after.
