FAQ Jewelry Workshop in Lübeck
Who is the workshop suitable for?
For everyone who feels like getting creative and designing their own jewelry. Private group bookings are available for 6 people or more and are particularly suitable for: bachelorette parties (JGA), birthdays, or team events. For smaller groups, we also offer public sessions in Kiel.
Do I need to have hands-on experience?
No, just a little patience. We will guide you through everything step by step; all you need is a desire for something creative and the joy of creating something with your own hands. A little tip: think a bit beforehand about what kind of piece of jewelry it should be, that makes getting started even easier.
What materials are available on-site?
We offer a wide selection of freshwater pearls, shells, sea glass, glass beads, and various chains and clasps in gold and silver. And the best part is: If you have found treasures like beach glass or shells yourself, feel free to bring them along, and we'll work together to see how we can incorporate them into your piece of jewelry.
What can I make?
You can choose between a stainless steel necklace, bracelet, or anklet in gold or silver, or earrings made of 925 sterling silver. We will explain everything else to you on-site.
What makes your workshop special?
Behind Salty Dreamers are just two people with true passion and a huge love for jewelry and creativity. We don't do mass events; every workshop is personal, lively, and unique because we are there ourselves to help you. If there's one thing we're good at, it's fostering creativity. The reviews speak for themselves. ;)
Can I bring my own materials or found objects?
Yes, absolutely! If you have any treasures you've collected from the beach yourself, like sea glass or seashells, just bring them along. We have a Dremel on-site and can work on your finds accordingly.
Where is the workshop taking place?
We are very flexible in our planning: you are welcome to organize a suitable location yourselves, have the workshop take place at someone's home, or we can look for a nice option together. Otherwise, we also have locations in Lübeck's city center that we can inquire with.
What's included in the price?
All tools, materials, and accessories will be provided. You will create your own piece of jewelry, which you can take home at the end. If you wish to make more than one piece, you can do so on-site for a small additional charge for material costs, approximately €14-16 per additional piece of jewelry.
How long is the workshop?
The workshop lasts about 3 hours. This is enough time to assemble a piece of jewelry at your leisure and spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere. At our private events, most people also manage to create a second piece of jewelry, which is possible for an additional charge.
