Who is the workshop suitable for?

For everyone who wants to get creative and design their own jewelry. Private group bookings are possible for 6 people or more and are particularly suitable for: bachelorette parties, birthdays or team events. For smaller groups, our public dates are ideal.

Do I need to have hands-on experience?

No, not at all. We'll guide you through everything step by step; all you need is a desire for something creative and the joy of making something with your own hands. A little tip: Think about what kind of jewelry you want to make beforehand; that will make starting even easier.

What materials are available on-site?

We offer a wide selection of freshwater pearls, shells, sea glass, glass beads, and various chains and clasps in gold and silver. And the best part: If you have treasures you've found yourself, such as beach glass or shells, feel free to bring them along. We'll work together to see how we can incorporate them into your piece of jewelry.

What can I produce?

You can choose between a stainless steel necklace or bracelet in gold or silver, or earrings made of 925 silver. We will explain everything else to you on site.

What makes your workshop special?

Behind Salty Dreamers are just two people with true passion and a huge love for jewelry and creativity. We don't do mass events; every workshop is personal, lively, and unique because we are there ourselves to help you. If there's one thing we're good at, it's fostering creativity. Can I bring my own materials or found objects?

Yes, absolutely! If you have treasures collected from the beach, like sea glass or shells, just bring them along. We'll work together to see how we can incorporate them into your piece of jewelry. We even have a drill on-site and can drill holes as needed.

Where is the workshop taking place?

The workshop takes place at Café Alma or Anschar Campus in Kiel, both cozy places with a relaxed atmosphere. We have been guests there for a while and feel completely at home every time. We will always send you detailed information about the location by email.

What's included in the price?

All tools, materials, and accessories will be provided. You will create your own piece of jewelry, which you will take home with you at the end. If you would like to make more than one piece, you can do so on-site for a small additional fee for material costs, approximately €14-16 per additional piece of jewelry.

How long does the workshop last?

The workshop lasts about 3 hours. This is enough time to assemble a piece of jewelry at your leisure and spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere. At our private events, most people also manage to create a second piece of jewelry, which is possible for an additional charge.
